The Noord-Hinder is the last lightship to be built in the Netherlands. The ship was built in 1963 at the De Waal shipyard in Zaltbommel and was thoroughly renovated and fully automated in 1981.
On March 21, 1994, this last Dutch lightship was definitively taken off the sea and is now a museum ship in Hellevoetsluis

De Noord-Hinder is het laatste lichtschip dat gebouwd is in Nederland. Het schip is in 1963 gebouwd op scheepswerf De Waal te Zaltbommel en grondig verbouwd en volledig geautomatiseerd in 1981
Op 21 maart 1994 werd dit laatste Nederlandse lichtschip definitief van zee gehaald en is nu een museumschip in Hellevoetsluis.
